Model Railway Group Moves Into Its New Space!

The Dunoon Community Shed Model Railway Group is settling into its new home.

The test layout is up and running and storage solutions are being built for the large amounts of donated railway locomotives and wagons. We will be starting work on bringing our exhibition layout, St. Morten, up to scratch soon.

We now have space to accommodate more members so if you are interested in becoming part of the group, we would be delighted to meet you. We meet routinely on Thursday evenings at 7pm but the facility is part of the Shed so is available to MRG members at any time the Shed is open.

Our test layout has both OO and N Gauge track and is switchable between analog DC and digital DCC control. We use it to test locomotives and rolling stock and to teach members how to build things like points and wiring.
