Story Telling Chair

Earlier this year the Head Teacher of Kirn Primary School came into the Dunoon Community Shed and commissioned the woodworking team to make a large story telling chair. The chair was to be a gift to the school from the head teacher on her retirement. The design evolved from a few simple example photos to a real life significant interesting piece of furniture for the school library. The wood used was local larch procured from Fynewoods next door to the shed. We hope that the pupils in the school have many years of story telling using the chair as a focal point.
